I have two of the older design cots with the 7 straps which supported my lab great, until my GSP tore it up. So I needed to order a replacement cover. The cover that I received was not the same as the original one, so there was no support in the corners. I called customer service and the gentleman that answered said that they had changed the design of the covers and bed. I asked if there were any of the old covers available to buy because I have two beds. He checked, but could not find any. He ended up sending a replacement bed. You don't find that type of customer service anymore.
My suggestion would be to say on the website on the cot replacement cover that it is for the newer design and will not fit the original design or make more of the old design for the older customers. Any way that's my two cents.
Thanks again
I just finished reading virtual verbatim reviews like mine. Almost all said the same thing so,MoMarsh, what do you have to say for yourselves?
Bought the monarch Dog cot a few years ago, has been good the dogs like it. The top was getting old so I purchased a new cover. The new one was made in china at its finest. The old one has 7 straps on the bottom for support, the new one has 3, needles to say when i installed it, my GSP steps right through it. So I call Momarsh and the customer service tells me they don’t pay returns and will only give me partial return. So it was not worth me wasting my time and more money to return.
Lesson learned for me…
My dog was ill and had a terrible accident on the bed. Rather then throw whole bed out I was able to get the replacement cover in Mossy Oak. Fits perfect and I think it's my labs favorite bed in the house.
I bought replacements because the one we had was getting worn out. I bought two, so I could have one on and when washing it, replace it with the other. Terrible covers—both broke and within hours to days of putting them on. Waste of money-garbage and so disappointed!
