Kinda hard to get the old part off but back to brand new.
Perfectly good quality. I bought this leg because it was inexpensive and allowed me a way to experiment with a modification I'd wanted to try without risking a leg from my Final Stand and Invisilab products. These are great products and the feet are well-designed for soft or sandy ground stability - but the shortcoming of these hard feet is that they really slip and slide on hard surfaces. I use mine regularly on the porch or inside on hard floors, and it really slides when my pup loads and unloads. So I wanted to see if I could come up with a way to reduce sliding.
I made these rubber "slippers" using pourable urethane rubber (for mold-making), and using the leg for the inside mold. I used a Shore A 60 product for increased hardness/durability and it is soft enough to grip. A product that is Shore A of 40-50 would grip even better and probably still have the needed durability. All-in cost about $25-30 including release agent and rubber (portable rubber doesn't last long after the jars are opened so I wasted half of the product) plus some time turning the outer mold (wood on a lathe).
At any rate, they work quite well for anyone with the same need. I'm sure MoMarsh could design a better and cheaper slipper for this purpose, maybe they'll see this and consider it.
Great product fast delivery
